What's in a name?
We are opening a new place at South Melbourne Market.
Basically it is a bar come kitchen, and people sit around it as if it were an amphitheatre.
It will be open in the day and late into the night.
Beth Courtney commented: "A place where you can have a glass of French Champagne and pinchos or an oyster anytime of day".
Now we need a name for it !
Can you help us? Give us your suggestions and opinions...
So far, we have:
Claypots Bazaar (suggested by Warren Foster, Renan rejected)
Ishtar (in reference to the epic of Gilgamesh...Harriet liked but Renan rejected)
Renan's (rejected by Michael, Renan's Lawyer)
George's (for no particular reason except to please all the Greek boys out there)
Mustafa's
The Evening Star (in reference to Ishtar by the way of Venus)
What do you think? Please let us know if you have any new ideas!
Make sure you check out the comments below for other suggestions.
